jerry grimes Hi Becky. I am 3 weeks out of surgery (today) and healing well. Been walking twice a day, usually 1/2 mile each time. Yesterday, walked 1 1/2 miles in the morning and another half mile in the afternoon. Not a lot of tenderness at the incision. Still, it's going to take some rehab to get back to a reasonable level of fitness. Definitely no pickleball for several months. Should start cardiac rehab in a couple weeks. I am pleased with my progress, but starting to get cabin fever - and we haven't had any snow or cold weather yet. All in all, everything is progressing smoothly.
