Hi Greg! Welcome to this community! A couple years ago I was in the same place you are now. My surgery/surgeries wound up being a lot more than I bargained for, but these surgeons are so good at what they do, they saved my life!! So try not to be overly scared about the whole thing, even though I know that's almost impossible. It's not up to you to know how to do heart surgery, you just gotta show up. There is a whole team of people getting you through this one! You are never alone in this. I have been recovering for a couple years (don't worry, that's not the norm ), and have learned so much!
