About Me (In My Own Words)
I was recently diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis. After having an echocardiogram and a heart cath test it was determined that I would need valve replacement. No date set as yet, but meeting with cardiologist on Monday. Having many injuries over my 25 year career as a firefighter, this is the first one that I am genuinely scared about. Seeking all the info and support I can find. Thank you for having me.
