Hi Glen, My husband had a minimally invasive mitral valve repair surgery done at a center if excellence (severe regurgitation, anterior leaflet, at the A2-A3 leaflets, 2 broken chordae and 2 stretched chordae replaced with Goretex chords). My AVR happened a month after we had hoped. Just know that all the preliminary tests etc. will help the surgeon know and plan exactly for your procedure. Good luck!!

Also I did a lot of research on you tube and other sites showing our type of problem. Some don t want to know but I did and made the wait more tolerable.

Duane, thank you for your comments and recommendations. I hadn't thought to look on You Tube. I'm with you on wanting to know more than less. It's all in God's good timing and sometimes I lose sight of the bigger picture.
