Frieda Monarch-Nowosielski Hi Shirl and Tom, So good to hear from you. Finally got out of ICU late last night. I feel like a blimp in the Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am carrying 20 lbs of water weight, can't bend my legs, have to start moving so I get rid of this. They started me in PT today, so that should get it moving. Once home, 6 weeks of PT daily. It will be like I am back working. Can't drive for 4 weeks so Rich will be back at work with me. He has been so remarkable through this with me, I don't know how I would have gotten through without him! I am sure you saw the postings Renee did on what procdures were done so I"ll skip those.
Lots of hard work ahead on me, but I am ready to start. Can't wait to get to Florida!!! Will you guys be in that area sometime this winter. Let is know maybe we can hook up. Thanks for keeping in touch and all your support.

I finally got out of ICU late last night. 14 days in ICU is wayyyyy to much. I am starting to feel better and excited to start PT. Also sorry we didn't hook up. Thanks you for all your thoughts and prayers. Good luck with your recovery. If you are ever in the Florida, drop me an email, perhaps we could getether by the Ocean.
