You'll be fine Fred! Most of all do exactly what these great cardiac nurses tell you, don't be shy about asking for help or meds, and most of all don't set high expectations on your recovery. Every one is unique and heals according to age, strength, etc. I got discouraged... Read more.

Fred I had same surgery Mini Thoracotomy but with added Aneurysm repair in September 2018. 4 days in hospital. Work on breathing, will speed recovery The stress before the surgery was the toughest Prayers
