Emily I had two valves replaced two years ago from damage due to rheumatic fever as a child. I was 60 years old and am doing fine. Prayers for you for a smooth and quick recovery. And may you and your husband have lots of beautiful children. God Bless you... Read more.

I had the exact same surgery done 6 weeks ago today. I'm 2 years older than you. I know you'll do well in recovery but look forward to hearing your progress. Best of luck and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
