Read through all your posts - very cool to see all the ups and downs as you heal. Sounds like you're getting back to normal. Hi David. Good luck and best wishes for your recovery. I had aortic valve replacement on June 4. Almost back to normal energy and activity. I had a bovine valve too. My doctor told me They last 25-30 years now That's progress in only a few short years. Be well.

Make sure you have lots of pillows and find comfortable position(s) to get plent of sleep and rest.

When you feel better and more up to typing once home (it took me into the second week to want to type), can you let us all know where you had surgery and what type of valve you selected? Yesterday my hubby and I went for a ride.I did lots of walking and standing. All went well was tired by the time we got home.
Rest, relax, walk, drink water and east well so yourvheasrt will continue on the road to recovery.
