Thanks Adam. As far as I know I am still a few years out from Aortic valve/root replacement. That said, I would like to remain as active as possible to be in my best physical shape when the time comes. Any information out there about sports (racquetball) and my limitations?... Read more.

Hi David, That is great, I think the better your health is going in will be a better outcome. I just had my Aortic Valve and root replaced feeling a little rough up until about 5 weeks...I am 9 weeks post op and feeling great...I had about a 4 1/2... Read more.

I can't speak to racquetball but I can say that prior to surgery I stepped up my game to remain more active. I was encouraged to walk daily and eat healthy to be as healthy as possible before surgery. I think it helped! So I'd encourage doing as much as... Read more.
