Hi Damian, just read your note...hope your surgery went well! First week is always the toughest...most important be patient with yourself, it's going to take time to get back to feeling "normal"...good luck!

Hi Carlos- My husband used a small electric hand massager on the areas just below both shoulders as the pain was intense from time to time mostly on the right hand side of the shoulder bones. I had to use a combination of heating pad and a hot water bottle... Read more.

Thanks Terrie! I think it's the hunching that's getting to me...I'm afraid of stretching the wound and that's making me hunch and keeping me tense! Thanks for the advice!
