Laura Jacobs Hi Barry, Just a note to tell you that I am thinking about you, your wife, and your family. You both have been through such an emotional and physical roller coaster. I hope that you are able to put all this behind you once your surgery is complete and you can begin to enjoy life again without constant medical appointments and unanswered health questions. My husband and I both have thyroid issues. My husband went through exactly what you did. ..the thyroid tumor, the radioactive pill, isolation etc. That was probably 15 years ago. It took quite a long time to get his hormone levels exactly correct but eventually all was well. I hope you experience the same success with the thyroid management, and all the other challenges that have been thrown your way. Good luck on the 6th and may your recovery be speedier than you hoped for!!

Barry Sullivan Thank you for the support - I have been on the same thyroid dose since April and am doing fine with it - I know it can be difficult to get it dialed in.
Surgery was 17 days ago and I am doing pretty good!
