Hi Arie , welcome How you are feeling is very normal after having open heart surgery . Open heart surgery is a big life change and it is a big operation to have . I think you said that you are 18 years old . Just navigating the teenage years can be a challenge when you are growing up , you are recovering from open heart surgery too . Your surgeon / cardiologist is happy with how you are recovering , that doesn ‘t mean that suddenly you have to feel happy and chilled out . You are allowed to have up days and down days . Take life one day at a time , you are doing really well . This lovely community is here to support you too .
