Hi Amy.

I too have Bavd, with severe stenosis, and my adsending aorta is also enlarged to 4.8cm. I will have my Surgery soon, not sure as of yet. Will meet my surgeon soon, as i just completed my angiogram the 17th, with no blockages, thank god... some good news. Did you go with the on x valve? That is the valve i will go with, if i select mechanical. Keep me updated.

Hope your Surgery goes as planned, and you have a speedy recovery.
