I'm scheduled for TAVR next month. How do you suggest that I set up with my surgeon possible complications and what procedures I am/am not willing to do?

Robert Miller I am not sure I understand the question. You should have a list of questions about possible complications, what complications are more likely considering your medical history, what to expect for the recovery, etc. Then meet with the surgeon to address those questions. And there isn't really much of a "what I am willing to do". The surgeon will do whatever is medically necessary. You can agree or decline blood transfusion, decline resuscitation, decline getting a pacemaker, etc and the surgeon will respect that. There will also be a question about other people (like your partner) making decisions for you when you can't make decisions. Also check out the learning center.
