First thank you to Adam and all who have joined this group!
I was recently diagnosed with severe aortic valve stenosis. My doctor assures me surgery will be conducted before the year is up. Every now and again I get nauseated just thinking about the surgery. I also picture both positive and negative outcomes. I must say I am generally in a positive frame of mind but any suggestions for dealing with the negative will be GREATLY appreciated.

Dan Vechiola Hi Robin! I have the exact same diagnosis and thoughts as you. Just met with my surgeon yesterday and scheduled my surgery date following my meeting with him. I am just trying to march forward and stay positive and not think bad things. I know its easier said then done but my research, Adam's book and this community has helped relieve a lot of my fears.
