Seems to have been decided by Dr Israel George at NY Presbyterian that my 7 year old Sorin Mitroflow valve must be replaced. For various reasons I am not a candidate for TAVR. Dr George is recommending a mechanical valve this time vs another tissue one. I've heard these valve... Read more.

I have just found out that my Sorin Mitroflow Aortic Pericardial Heart Valve installed in November of 2014 may need to be replaced after only 7 years. Apparently these valves are deteriorating much more quickly than promised. Has anyone else had a similar issue with Sorin Valves? I am a... Read more.
