I am diagnosed with a leaky heart valve. I ordered the book and it helped me a lot. Now I have to make a decision to go for a heart valve replacement which is suggested. I saw the surgeon but I cannot make up my mind. It scares me a lot. What would help me to make up my mind. ?

Tammy Pilcher Marianne, I had my aortic valve replaced 9 days ago. I too was scared, but I didn't feel I had a choice. I was at a very critical stage and had done enough research to know that my life expectancy was 6 months to a year. My cardiologist told me I had to get it replaced before the end of the year. He didn't say maybe or you should. He said you have to before the end of the year. So as afraid as I was, I just kept telling myself this is going to save my life. You can do this and this site will help you. I will be praying for the Lord to give you guidance. Love, Tammy
