August 2022 Surgery scheduled for November 2, 2022 I will be 55.
Unfortunately, I will have full open heart surgery. The doctor said my anatomy and the severity of having both aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis makes it more of a risk to do a minimally invasive procedure. I will receive the Edwards Inspiris Resalia valve and they will close my sternum with plates.
I am looking forward to feeling better and getting back to riding my horses.
