About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with aortic insufficiency in 1986 and aortic stenosis in 2019. It progressed from stable mild to moderate/severe with symptoms in less than 18 months. I am currently going through all the tests to determine what type of procedure is the best option for me.
My journey ended up being VERY long. I have had every test known to mankind at least once.

August 2022 Surgery scheduled for November 2, 2022 I will be 55.
Unfortunately, I will have full open heart surgery. The doctor said my anatomy and the severity of having both aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis makes it more of a risk to do a minimally invasive procedure. I will receive the Edwards Inspiris Resalia valve and they will close my sternum with plates.
