My name is Linda Edwards. I am joining this group in search of support from the caregivers. My husband and I are scheduled to have our first consultation with a heart surgeon tomorrow to discuss a possible trans-catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). As his caregiver, I have researched all the procedures related to his heart, since his heart attack several years ago. Although, we have not yet reached "the decision", I am seriously concerned about what psychological after-effects for which I might need to prepare. I am already seeing signs of paranoia, irritability, and depression. Any caregivers out there who can help?
