I had the TAVR procedure two days ago. It was successful and I came home the next day. I feel good phisically, but feel very fragmented like I am not in my body and I get really angry at little things that would normally not bother me. I wonder if it is a reaction to the anasthesia. Marie Myers In my humble opinion, I don’t think it is the anesthesia.
I felt more emotional after AVR and aneurysm resection, along with occasional bursts of tears. I think it is just our human reaction to going through something traumatic, whether emotional or physical in causation. Some of it is the “why me” reaction, also. It gets better as you heal, and come to accept your experience as just another part of your life’s journey. Hope that helps.
