I don’t know the answers to your particular questions, but the major hospitals like Cleveland Clinic or Mayo might be a good place to start. I hope you find the answers you need!

Kimberly Eisenhut  I also have modrate to severe Tricuspid regurgitation and am still in wait and watch mode. I will most likely be going to Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. McArthy or Dr. Malaisrie are well trained and specifically study the tricuspid valve. They have experience with newer technologies as well, so may be able to offer minimally invasive, but I do not know about the wires. Of course, Cleveland Clinic would be a top pick also. You would need to reach out to them and send all of your medical information for them to review and probably travel to get updated tests done before they can advise you. I do know Northwestern likes to do their own testing at the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute on their campus in Chicago, as they know the tests are done correctly and know the technicians well. It is a University Hospital and sometimes have more options for special cases like ours. You are the first person I have come across on this site with specifically only Tricuspid problem. (Well, I also have an aortic anuerysm) Tricuspid is very rare as the main source of heart valve problem. Please let us know what you find out and where you decide to go.
