I am surprised at how "normal" I feel after aortic valve replacement and ascending aorta replacement 6 weeks ago. Low energy at first but now I'm happily spending 30 minutes a day on my recumbent bike in my office.

Lilly Black Kate, the day after my heart valve replacement, I spoke to a friend on the East coast for an hour on the phone from the hospital! I would never have been able to do that prior to the surgery....so yes, I agree. You can feel the positive effect after your heart valve replacement pretty much immediately! I am so grateful! I wish you a great full recovery :o)
