Yes, it is a shock to learn you need heart surgery. For me, having open heart was my first time staying in a hospital-what an introduction! You must remember, iopen heart surgery is actually quite common, and many ,many people get through these surgeries everyday. Wishing you all the best!

June 10 1:22 am Has anyone else noticed worse insomnia since being diagnosis with an aortic aneurysm? This has really been a worsening problem and I wondered if the aortic ascending aneurysm I have could be the cause. I have not had surgery.
