Dr. Castro replaced my aortic valve and repaired an aortic root aneurysm. The aortic aneurysm was an unknown issue beforehand and Dr. Castro took the initiative to repair the aneurysm. Several friends and a Doctor friend recommended Dr. Castro and the Sequoia Hospital. My pre-op appointment convinced me that Dr. Castro had the skills and experience that were important and he is a delightful person. Easy to be around, great personality, very informative and answered all of my questions. My outcome has been great. I was up and walking the next day and I have progressed steadily and in five weeks I was walking up to two miles per day in hilly terrain. Everything about Dr. Castro, his surgical team, the nursing staff and Sequoia Hospital has been outstanding. One cannot find better medical anywhere else. Jerry Hromyko 05/29/15 Angels Camp, CA
