Hi. I'm supposed to get a Tavi. I'm a little bit worried since I had a liver transplant due to blood transfusions of Hep C many years ago and my kidneys aren't working well because of all the anesthesia and other jobs my body has gone through. I feel healthy, I feel great and I'm not sure if I am going to feel worse after the operation...glad to get information over here. I live in Europe and I'm half Spanish half German. Marie Myers TAVR can be done under local anesthesia with sedation or a light general anesthesia. Even though you have some medical issues, you can safely get through this procedure. I have a very sick friend, who had TAVR at age 96. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday. I know you can get through this procedure! Keep us posted.
