Hi,
I was born with congenital heart disease (vsd repair, pulmonary banding, narrow aorta and 2x tricuspid valve replacements aged 3 and 10) I'm now 32 and have been with my partner for nearly 5 years and we are considering pregnancy. I have had several consultations over the past year with my cardiologist and the baby doctor to discuss the risks, main being monitoring anticoagulants and risk of thrombosis. Though they are very supportive the general consensus is that it is too risky to proceed with. I just wanted to see if there was anyone out there with similar situation, who could share their experiences?
