Hello, this my first post. So happy that this exist! I would like to share a little history about my heart issues. In 1996 I had OHS for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I had a myectomy at the Cleveland Clinic. Wow what a time that was! I've been doing great since then. Fast forward to 2023 and now I have diastolic heart failure, LBBB, Afib, 2 leaky valves, and in need of a stent in one of my arteries. I am scheduled to have cardioversion, the stent, angiogram on a Monday August 28 th. The angiogram will determine whether I will have another OHS or minimally invasive. Just feeling a little anxious.!! Thanks in advance for any encouragement

Diane Coleman Hello all thanks again for all your encouragement! Well I didn't need to get a stent or cardioversion. I will need surgery for Mitral Valve Regurgitation and an ablation for afib. Waiting to hear from my cardiologist about a consultation with the cardiac surgeon. I had a TEE and cardiac catherization at University of Penn/Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. Awesome hospital! Excellent care!!
Grace Mason Good news no stent needed! Glad all your tests went well.
