I had open heart aortic valve replacement on June 16, 2022 and I still have some pain with coughing, sneezing and deep breathing. It will be five months this November 16th. I am wondering if this is normal and if any of you have experienced the same thing. I am in my early 70’s maybe its an age thing?

J H Mattingly Debera...you are only 4 months post surgery. I had the same surgery and my chest was not "normal" until really 6-9 months. I had some aches/pains too but they slowly get better and go away entirely.
