hi. I had mitral valve replacement along with clipping of the aortic valve (to reduce opening) and repair of 2 holes last April. I'm doing a mile on the treadmill several times per week and, other than chronic tiredness and dizzy spells (sometimes Bad!) I'm doing well. These dizzy spells are my concern though. The room does not spin, my head does. They're not happening when I sit or stand or with sudden movements. I can be sitting or standing for 10 minutes when they come over me. On occasion they cause me to feel like I'll faint or vomit. Is this even semi normal?
FYI: I cannot take blood thinners because of adverse organ reaction so I take natural herbs and vitamins. I have my INR and other blood counts done occasionally and they're quite stable.
Might you have any insight on these dizzy spells?
