Im a few days from my Aortic Valve Replacement Anniversary. A few days ago I started to get some pain in my lower left rib area. Not crushing pain but above discomfort, I tend to ignore most pains and move forward. It seems to have lessened but my Left chest seems to have some pain now. My breathing seems normal I feel mostly fine but as most of us I am sure in the back of my head a bit worried something is going wrong. Thoughts? I don't want worry my wife and call Doc unless I need to..

Hello Carlton, just read your post. I myself am going to have my fifth month post op. All I know from reading here is that all kinds of things can happen after OHS. These are not easy times to be seeing your doctor but to be on the safe side call him or her and have a televisit if possible or email him or leave a message to call him back. Your wife would appreciate your telling her how you are feeling. No need to hide your pain and maybe she will have a suggestion. Practice safety precautions and stay safe. Do not delay letting your doctor know. God bless you and be well
