Looking for insights on the occurrence of mitral valve stenosis 2 years post mitral valve repair and how others navigated that information. I went from mild to moderate mitral stenosis and left atrium from mild to moderate enlargement in one year. Still awaiting an appointment with cardiologist but only info I received was to continue annual echos. I would think it would be helpful to know cause of stenosis. Any help is appreciated.
