About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with a bicuspid, stenoic aorta valve , severe stage.
In my appointment with the surgeon he recommended a procedure in which the new valve will be introduced
Through a small incision between the second and third rib.
I was just delighted with such procedure and even now, I feel grateful that I have this option.
Since I live alone, a faster recuperation sounds really good.
Unfortunately, I never asked for the actual name of this procedure, neither I asked about something that now
Seems very important to me, which is, how much help I’ll need after I get home ? Will I need a caregiver ?
I could be scheduled for surgery any day now. I need help with those questions.
If Anyone would like to share his/her experiences with this surgery I will so much appreciate all your help.
