I am 84 years old. Diagnosed with a leaky heart valve and artery blockage. Dr. Marelli from Bay Health Medical Center in Dover, DE performed the procedure in late 2013. Replaced the valve with a bovine valve. The surgery went extremely well. The doctor visited almost every day for my multiple week recovery. After my surgery they found an infection in my gall bladder which delayed recover slightly. The gall bladder was removed. Several weeks after the surgery I had a pacemaker put in.
Doctor Daniel Marelli and the staff at Dover's Bayhealth far exceeded our expectations. The service was great, and they communicated very well with me and my family. I highly recommend this doctor and Bay Health.
