About Me (In My Own Words)

I had a congenital heart defect which left my aortic valve with only two flaps instead of three. At 33 I became aware of this and had watched it for many years. I finally had symptoms so bad from aortic stenosis that I was not able to do anything without exhaustion. It was time for me to get a new valve.
