About Me (In My Own Words)
was first diagnosed with a murmur and so the testing began after visiting my Cardiologist. Mitral valve "resection" was performed by Dr. John Breaux along with the Maze procedure. Have recovered well, very active with exercise, biking, walking & outdoor work other than I do suffer with "PVC's" and thus had a Loop Recorder implanted in 2019 to monitor this events. Recently though (May & July 2021) the Loop Recorder has picked up 2 separate nights (2 months apart) of a heart rhythm pause event. due to meet with my Cardiologist soon to discuss - would like to reach out this fellow community of Heart patients about similar events and solutions to this issue.
