About Me (In My Own Words)
My son had two open heart surgeries at 6 months for severe mitral valve regurgitation due to endocarditis. For his first surgery he had mitral valve repair and two weeks later he had his second operation where a C shaped annuloplasty ring was inserted. Currently he is 10 months and is doing great.
