Send Tim a NoteAbout Me
I originally had my aortic valve replaced in 2005 along with a triple bypass, I was 49. I am also a Type 1 diabetic since 1972. My recovery from the open heart procedure was long and adventurous. The TAVR experience, just yesterday, is nothing short of a miracle. I am already home, resting and without significant pain. My echocardiogram shows a gradient of 15 versus the 55 gradient prior to surgery. I am 62 now and grateful for this amazing procedure.
