About Me (In My Own Words)
I noticed a lot of comments from big breasted woman. I don't know if the surgeons consider this but I they probably do. We certainly have a whole different set of problems than men or woman with smaller breasts. It's been 7 months since my surgery and I still hurt. I have to sleep with a pillow between my breasts so the weight of one does not fall on the other causing pain. Since my surgery I had become very depressed and have gained 50 lbs. This is also a problem because I now have a titanium sternum and unlike a normal sternum that expands with the size of your body mine is fixed so it feels like I am wearing a tight corsette. I am afraid of my weight gain and wish to be put on an all liquid diet. I had an excellent health insurance plan at the time of the surgery but since then lost my job (surprise, surprise) for being out so much. I now have no insurance. Anyway, it is 4:45 and have developed symptoms of narcelepsy since the surgery and more importantly, the biggest change is my whole body jerks violently and my muscles contract when I lay down. Not all the time but several times a night. I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems. I am 51 years old.
