About Me (In My Own Words)
I was having issues for several years until a Cardiologist said I had a bicuspid Aorta valve, seen by the valve doctors but was told not bad enough for surgery. Then in 2025 a CT found a non cancer tumor in my left atrium of my heart. Then ran more test. Then had surgery on the 22nd of September of 2025. This is what they did by doctor and robotic surgery. Replace my leaking aorta, repaired a hole in the upper chamber, remove a tumor, and did MAZE on my upper R chamber.
I did good through surgery
On thing has been hard to really control is blood pressure especially the lower number of the BP
I was sent home several times because my blood pressure was 140/90, 150/100. We have been taking meds to help control this. 3 months out it was 140/90. Still have Afib from time to time still trying to control it too. Thought the MAZE would have taken care of it.
Will have a Video call with the Ablation group out of Bayler heart in Plano. Will seek more answers.
The blood pressure drops all the way down to 117/74 after 1 hour of cardio rehab.
