My Mother had dental work in Gastonia N.C. and to her surprise she was diagnosed with streptococcus mitis. she was infected from having dental surgery and it became a problem over time unaware of being sceptic her body became very weak to having chest pains and becoming very sick. We knew Mom felt really bad however we dod not not know what was going on. Neither did her Drs. The fact is the dr from cmc main finally figured it out and she was told that her heart valve was infected -over half of valve was comoleyely destroyed. She needed surgury immediately. She came thru surgury and the next terrible news came to us and that is when we. Found out Mom would be on Warfin also know as cumitin. My cousin died suddenly from this very scary medicine. Her brain turned to muss when her blood was do thin that she fainted and she was rushed to hospital then died there was nothing we could do. Her brain was just floating and we were helpless and it was because no one at her Dr office was monitering her numbers while on warfin. They could kept giving it yo her and everyone trusted her Drs we had never even heard of that med. At the time. We are scared of this medicine for Moms sake. Either Moms blood is too thon or too thick we cant seem to fer it right. Her head hurts up top and she constantly rubs her temples. Her brain is doggie and she stays Dixie mist of time. She weights only 98 lbs from being 135 . We are just not sure what's going on however she still trying very hard to do what she supposed to do she never eat because she's afraid to eat vitamin K her diet is not that good she's a lot of dairy products so I am trying to help her with her eating habits which is not easy with his mom. I will add more to my story tomorrow but for now my mom her first name is Wanda and she is a beautiful woman loves the Lord and has battled breast cancer in her life which spread into her bone marrow she is a walking miracle. Her cancer came back she had breast cancer and it came back not the breast cancer but it came back into her colon so she had colon surgery almost bled to death but she ever come back praise God and now this when does it end? She's had a very tough life. Her and my stepdad have a wonderful life beautiful home can travel anywhere they want but Mom's helped restrict them from doing so. She's a beautiful person inside and out and deserves nothing but the best and I am asking for prayer for my mom from everyone out there I know everyone has their own issues going on and it's been tough for you guys to I just want peace for my mom and happiness for my mom just for a small window she is in her early 70s and I say Mom you're still young she says oh honey no I'm not and loves me more than life itself I'm her only child her son was killed by drunk driver many years ago my brother it was very difficult for my mom and me .
