About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve and mild aortic aneurysm in June 2011 at age 21. I have always been an athlete including a 4 year ncaa rower. After my diagnosis process was finished and I was cleared to do what I wanted I was able to join the track team in college and throw javelin for my 5th year. Now I have some restrictions and just trying to learn how to be a normal adult (not a high intensity athlete) and keep active with my restrictions.
