About Me

Hi all! I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. It has been watched for years, but now has become severe and also I've developed an aortic aneurysm. What's crazy to me is I'm totally asymptomatic! I dance competitively, work out regularly and move a lot for my business. So this was a bit of a surprise to me. Knowing that it won't improve on its own, and that it is a bit dangerous to continue on like this, I've decided to move forward with my surgery sooner rather than later. So just a few short weeks, I'll be doing the biggest procedure of my life. I appreciate the community. I'm not really nervous (yet) but not really sure what to expect either. Blessings and prayers to all who's surgeries are coming up!
