About Me (In My Own Words)
I've known I had MVP since age 21 but apparently I have had it since childhood. Now I have severe regurgitation and it is recommended that I have the valve repaired sooner than later. I have no symptoms so it's hard to deal with the fact I'll have to have open heart surgery soon. I'm thinking I will do it in June.
