Shari's Profile

I'm twenty-three years old and I was born with pulmonary atresia (almost no blood was able to get through my pulmonary valve when I was born). I had two surgeries when I was an infant. I've had wonderful doctors at Children's Hospital in Washington DC, and I found out a few years ago that I would need to get my pulmonary valve replaced in the near future. My surgery date is September 28th.
