About Me (In My Own Words)
I was recently diagnosed with aortic regurgitation due to a bicuspid valve. My cardiologist said that I have a significant amount of aortic regurgitation. I will be having a TEE and a cardiac CTA within the next week, to determine how soon surgery is needed. I am 33 years old and a mom of four awesome kids. Heart surgery was not on my radar for my lifetime, especially not at this stage, with four young kids at home. Thankfully, I have a great support system of family and friends, and a strong faith that will get me through this. I am so very greatful for this site and community!
