About Me (In My Own Words)
My Mitral valve was replaced in 1983. I have had issues with afib and had to be cardioverted x's 3 and had and ablation done. All in all everything has been pretty good. It's now time that my gradient across the valve is wrong and my cardio thinks I may have to have surgery. I have Sarcoidosis also and im on treatment for that at this time. I have been throught several test for both of these problems. I have to wait until the i'm off prednisone before we can carry on with the heart issues. So my story is I have been blessed so far with the valve I received. I believe it is just wore out,
