About Me (In My Own Words)
During a non-related examination for sinusitis, my doctor discovered a heart murmur and sent me to a cardiologist for an examination. The cardiologist discovered a leaking aortic valve (unicuspid) and a 56mm aneurysm. I was operated in September 2013 with a mechanical aortic valve and aorta graft.
