Empyema infection of left lung resulting in 3 lung surgeries with final a partial thorocotomy of left lung. June 2010 had stroke in the middle of chemo treatments for NHL. Currently in remission. Has anyone had any problems after valve replacement? Thank you, Ron Langley
Celebrating 15 years out. Really never had any real problems resulting from mitral valve replacement. Was able to go back to playing senior league baseball for 5 years and then the stroke I had ended my baseball playing days in 2012. Played a total of 20 years until age 65. I’m now almost 73.
I’ve been wondering if any one besides me had any type of infection after surgery?
I’ve been doing well considering all problems I’ve had.
