About Me (In My Own Words)

I was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse 8 months ago, I had no idea I had anything wrong with me as I’m only 32. There is no surgery scheduled yet but it will likely happen within the next few years. For now I go for checkups every 6 months.
It was pretty shocking and traumatic for me to find out this news....looking to connect with others!
